We’re looking for motivated seasonal employees to work in all departments of this luxury outdoor escape for our 2014 season. Ideal candidates will have a passion for high-end service and guest satisfaction, with an equally strong work ethic suitable to this rugged wilderness setting. Teamwork is imperative in this remote setting, as different days and changing guests bring different challenges in maintaining such an intimate, family-like atmosphere. All staff must be adaptable and have a willingness to help out wherever needed, as seasonal staff will likely be utilized in multiple departments if and when needed.

Our 2014 season will run from early-April through early-November. Potential staff members must commit for either the full length of our season or for 3-4 months of the prime summer season, and some will be eligible for full-time positions. Certain positions will start earlier than others, as the staff will start smaller and grow for our peak summer and fall seasons, filling a variety of different positions for our special needs in this unique seasonal environment.

HOUSE STAFF: Seasonal employees willing to work in all departments, with a passion for luxury service, guest satisfaction, and a strong work ethic suitable to this wilderness setting. Must be flexible and fill in wherever needed, being comfortable in a ‘floating’ hospitality role. House Staff will be housekeepers, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, kitchen helpers, activity guides, landscapers, painters, and general labor as required by management.

ACTIVITY/BOAT GUIDE:Activities provide unique, memorable experiences for guests. Only some require Guides, but all equipment and amenities must be ready for enjoyment at all times. Safety first! On land we have ATV-tours, Zip-line adventure, low-ropes course, Ranger tours and hiking trails. On water we have leisure boat rides and water-sport excursions, canoes and kayaks, docks, water toys and fishing gear. This is for well-trained outdoor enthusiasts who can and want to lead groups of all ages through their adventures. Must work closely with the Maint/Grounds Dept. to ensure all guest activities are well kept. Guides may also be House Staff.

Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of all exterior areas; i.e. buildings, paths and roadways, landscaping and water-features, pool and docks, and any other general labor needed. Must be flexible and help where needed; skill sets with respect to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, vehicles and boats, and landscaping/grounds preferred. Manager and Labor positions available.

Responsible for record keeping and all back-office duties; i.e. basic accounting, guest folios, payments, reconciliations, legal, insurance, and general administrative aid to management.

Cleaning all interior spaces of the resort, some exterior work, maintaining the laundry facility, and reporting any damages, theft, or maintenance issues immediately.

Dealing with guests on the phone and in person, ensuring satisfactory luxury service, coordinating with others for all guest needs, and assisting management as necessary. Must be clean and organized, friendly and competent, and an information source for guests and callers.


A big focus here, meals must be well-prepared and presented in timely, delicious and unique fashion. Menus change day-to-day based on ingredients and guests, as they must be fed their entire stay.

  • SOUS CHEF: Work with Chef in all aspects of kitchen. Knowledge of multiple cooking styles, breakfast and lunch, prep skills, ability to listen and good work ethics are expected.
  • DINING/BAR MANAGER: Lead Server for various dining settings, casual to formal. Responsible for serving, supervising and training others, set-ups and break-downs, bartending and inventory, maintaining dining and service areas. Fine dining experience and wine knowledge preferred.
  • SERVERS: Provide memorable experiences with quality service and knowledge of product. Servers may also be House Staff.

Compensation will be based on position and experience, paid every 2 weeks.
Employee housing is also available, subject to a standard living agreement. Full Board is not included with this offer; however, there will be some staff meals provided from time to time as determined by management.
